Illustration Friday- Nourishment
The Illustration Friday topic is Nourishment. My son and I are fascinated by carnivorous plants though growing them seems to be very difficult. We've managed to keep them for about a year at a time but never managed to get them to keep going longer. Of course, my son's friends visit and then the plants end up being hand fed with carefully caught bugs ; which i think is part of the reason for their early demise.

Ewwwwww :-) ... but right on topic!
hee, hard to imagine a fly as nourishment but yeah this works !
Hi, Alison! Great to see you on ifriday! Good illo for the topic too. All the best, Emily :-)
This is one of the best and most original yet. Really like it.
I once had a Venus Flytrap and it finally grew-up big enough to eat a fly. And it did. Then it died. Must have been one rotten fly.
Original and well done. Bravo.
Great Ill. I just gave my daughters plant a bug last week! It is no longer with us. I didn't no your not supose to feed them!
I think they like to catch their own bugs so that they aren't swamped by nutrients [since they grow in nutrient poor soils in the wild]
