some old photos
I remembered some photos today of a butterfly sitting on a Goddess statue , taken a few years ago at Beaulieu sur mer. [we were visiting Villa Kerylos at the time]
It was one of those amazing photo opportunities that usually happen when the camera isn't charged or has been left at home. The butterfly is a red admiral
Wow, beautiful shot! I usually joke to my g/f that she's too slow to take animal shots like that. They always take off before she's done futzing with the controls. Anyway, nice capture. Wish you could zoom in more. The contrast is surreal.
I'm a Scottish illustrator living in France with my husband, 2 kids and cat -blogging about life, art, photography and things that capture my interest.
